PEAKS Magazine, the magazine of Vail Resorts, has released its largest issue ever. The 176-page 2011-12 Winter Issue is packed with insightful information on the six mountains of Vail Resorts, led by the 24-page Epic Resort Guide.

PEAKS also features a 14-page Gear Guide with reviews of the best skis, boots, snowboards and accessories. Also included is a seven-page Style section, plus departments on lodging, dining, instruction and mountain living. The magazine also features the latest on Epic Season Pass options and the second generation of EpicMix.

A pair of Olympic gold medalists -- and Vail Resorts ambassadors -- grace the cover: downhill champion Lindsey Vonn and snowboard phenom Shaun White. The issue includes Vonn's personal tips for getting fit for the upcoming season and a story on White's new role with Vail Resorts and Northstar.

PEAKS is mailed to 200,000 PEAKS Rewards members, with 100,000 additional copies distributed at no charge at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly and Northstar California throughout the winter.

Look for PEAKS at the finest lodges in the high country, including at RockResorts properties; at the best specialty snowsports shops, such as Vail Sports, Breckenridge Sports and Heavenly Sports; and on all Colorado Mountain Express transportation.
