Time for another fun filled day of the Epic Summer program!
Bright and early we were off to the Colorado River to do a little
A view of the Colorado
We had excellent weather for our trip as we headed to Pump House drop
zone to meet our rafting guide. After a brief safety run through we were
ready to hit the water! It was a really mellow trip without much
paddling. More of a relaxing float. About halfway through our guide
pulled the raft to the river bank near a cliff. He explained we could
jump off the cliff if we liked; Eric and I were pumped! We'll share
After the rafting and some lunch we were headed to Vail for a gondola ride and some dinner. The drive itself was beautiful!
Mountains on the way to Vail
Vail is a beautiful place as well. There were weddings happening
everywhere! After looking around for a little while we hopped on the
gondola to check out the views from the top. We hung out up there for a
little while and then rode back down for a delicious dinner at the
Cucina Tavern in the village. We would suggest the meatloaf! After
dinner it was back to the condo in Keystone to relax.
