Kirkwood will also be ringing in the New Year with a birthday blowout. The joint anniversary and New Years Eve party will feature their annual torchlight parade, fire dancers, aerial performers, a DJ, and a spectacular fireworks display. This is one truly special way to ring in the New Year.
A week-long celebration of snow? Yes and yes. Breckenridge celebrates the mythical Norse god of snow with a rowdy parade down Main Street, a bonfire, the Ullympics, a Nordic party and even the Ullr Dating Game.
Four incredible days of food, wine and scenic Beaver Creek Resort will likely raise your bar for best weekend getaways to unreachable heights, but it’s a risk worth taking. Beaver Creek’s Food + Wine Weekend showcases interactive cooking demonstrations, wine and spirits events, gourmet wine pairing dinners, and the chance to meet with your favorite Chefs.
Artists come from Finland, Germany, Russia, Canada, Japan and around the US to turn blocks of snow into works of art. Watch the carvers sculpt Feb. 8-12 in the Village at Northstar and then join the Awards Ceremony on Feb. 13.

More than 100 of the world’s top snowboarders will converge at Vail for four days of progressive riding in the halfpipe and on the slopestyle course. Come, watch the progression of the sport.

Springtime on snow means sun and fun and there’s no better place to enjoy it than Lake Tahoe in California. Heavenly’s end-of-season blowout, Spring Loaded, is one of the best featuring loud tunes, loud outfits, pond skimming, concerts, the Gunbarrel 25 and the legendary Unbuckle après party at 9,150 feet. It’s pure Heavenly.

Bring your kids to Keystone this season for an interactive festival designed just for them. Stop by the ultimate Snow Fort at the top of Dercum Mountain, or check out Disco Tubing. Kidtopia also features arts and crafts courses and live music throughout the plaza.
