We are already counting our snow in feet here in Tahoe, and the staff at Heavenly mountain have been working around the clock (grooming at times for 46 hours straight!) to get the mountain in tip-top shape for this winter season.
To add to the building excitement, Heavenly Mountain is launching a Facebook contest tomorrow, Nov. 7 through Nov. 23. The promotion is called "Accessorize Your Season" and it's Heavenly's way of making sure you're dialed in with the best gear before the season starts on Nov. 18.
Heavenly Mountain is giving away 120 prizes Monday through Friday during the sweeps period; that means 10 prizes per day.

The 2011-2012 winter season is scheduled to run from Nov. 18, 2011 to April 15, 2012, weather and conditions permitting. Season passes are now on sale, starting at just $389 for the Tahoe Value Pass, which provides seven-day-per-week access to Heavenly Mountain Resort.
Other pass options are available, including the Epic Pass, priced at just $669. The Epic Pass offers unrestricted access all season long to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado, and both Heavenly and Northstar California Resort at Lake Tahoe, California/Nevada.
