The Details.
1) If you’re here all week, you’re likely on the hunt for après and after-dark adventures. Here are some highlights, the full list of parties is below.
MONDAY 12/5 - Click off your skis, unstrap your board and head to the Tap Room (at the top of Bridge St.) from 3:30-6:30 p.m. for “Après…Skiing Magazine Style”. Skiing Magazine editors will be serving up signature cocktails, including drinks featuring Tequila Don Julio, along with food specials. All those attending have the opportunity to enter and win a day of skiing with the guest bartending editor that includes a VIP package including lift tickets for two for Saturday, Dec. 10th and VIP access to the Yukon Kornelius concert on Saturday, Dec. 10th. Additional prizes will be given away throughout the evening.
THURSDAY 12/8 – 4:30-7:30pm join in on the Yukon Kornelius Pub Crawl presented by Bud Light. Get a card and have it stamped at The Club, The George and Vendetta’s. Fully stamped cards get you a free Bud Light at the Guster concert that night. When you redeem your card you’ll be entered into a drawing for a pair of Liberty skis - winner announced at the concert so be sure to stick around!
2) Get your ski and snowboard legs muscled up all week so that you’re ready for –
FRIDAY thru SUNDAY, 12/9 thru 12/11 - Demo Daze 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vista Bahn. Nordica, Liberty Skis, Ramp Sports and Burton will be there with all their newest and greatest skis and boards ready for your sampling pleasure.
3) Do you love to eat and love the environment? Of course you do!
FRIDAY thru SUNDAY – 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Eco Village at the Vista Bahn will have EVOL Burritos, Rustic Crust and Stonyfield Farm products to munch on as you scope out the IZSTYLE and Climate Counts tents. These tents are a part of the Reverb project, a non-profit begun in 2004 by Guster member Adam Gardner and his wife Lauren Sullivan. Their mission is to support the “greening” of concert tours through various environmental efforts and awareness. Their tagline is “Featuring the finest in environmental good karma and musical bliss”.
Other brands that will have tents set up are Sprint, Helly Hansen, Maui Jim, Rockstar and Muscle Milk.
4) Free concerts!! Oh the free, headliner concerts.

SATURDAY - While free is great, buying the Private Reserve pass for the Yukon Kornelius VIP lounge has some huge perks. You’ll have access to the preferred viewing area directly to the right of the stage with free food and beverages. Tickets go for $95, call the Vail Box Office in Vail Village 970-845-8497 to reserve.
