Life in the mountains is about seizing every moment. In the summer you know your days at the beach are fleeting. Soon that warm summer sun will be replaced by cool fall days perfect for hiking or biking. And as much as you love to hike or to bike, you want to bask in the warm summer sun because in the back of your mind there’s a tinge of sadness knowing it can’t last. In the winter you want to ski every powder day because you know that these days too are fleeting. It’s what I love about life in the mountains. It's a life of carpe diem. And now here we are staring at the end of another season. While we have the good news that Heavenly and Kirkwood have extended their seasons, there’s no getting around the fact that this season is coming to a close. Closing day at Northstar is Sunday, April 15. Here are 7 reasons you can’t miss it.
There's no moment like now. Carpe diem! See you at Northstar on Sunday.
